As far as I know, the summer has never been hot enough in Anchorage, Alaska to lose power. And if we did lose power....since the sun doesn't set in the summer.... we'd carry on as normal.

But, we do lose power in the winter. When that happens, we light a fire, light some candles and cuddle up with kitties.
