Dexter is awsome and amazing! Loved seeing him as POTD! He's such a fine lookin' bird and here's hoping that his life and wing will just get better with each passing day. All the love and care he gets now will certainly assure that! Peace and love to Dexter and his family

Your indomitable, fighting spirit, your ability to learn to love and trust after all that you've been through, is truly an inspiration, and a testament to the avian spirit! I was near tears reading of your former life, the neglect you suffered. And while a few of the physical scars still remain, it's clear your heart and spirit have long since healed! What an amazing fellow you are, Dexter, beautiful in body and heart, and your human so very blessed to have a best feathered friend, a loving and devoted companion for life, in you! And you just happen to be quite the entertainer to boot! I'm always amazed at the ability of big birds to mimic, and your talents are right up there with the best of them (though I think you're the first I've met you can duplicate a smoke alarm, and soda being poured over ice!
