Chipper will continue to stay at the vet over the holiday weekend. He's not in as much pain as before and the ear is healing nicely. I miss him, but I know he's in good hands.
Because of the limited weekend staff, no one will be answering the phones, but they will call me if something comes up. So no news is good news.
Hopefully he can come home on Tuesday.

Look who is happy to be home!!
He ran around the backyard like a crazy dog and then immediately crashed fast asleep.
He has a followup this Friday. Not sure how long he'll have to wear the cone. Probably a week or two. And you'll notice it's not blue. He ate that cone while at the vets.
This is the replacement.
Hope he leaves the ear alone this time.
