Anyone know what I am talking about?
Could Tink's noise possibly be described as a chirpping trill? When Tumbles was a kitten, I wanted to "do things right" so I bought a kitten care book. It explained that when the Mother cat has been away and comes back to the "nest", the kittens will chirp/trill a greeting.

After I read that, I made it a point to listen to Tumbles when I would come into the room to see what she did...and it was the sweetest little trill ever! The only way I can give an example is to imagine running your finger an octave up a scale on a piano, from low to high.

So...if this is what Tink might be doing...it sounds like she is "greeting" her mother! How sweet! ...And if it's not what she is doing...it still sounds loving!

    Until next time...Annie

Yes! That is the perfect description...a trill. I am noticing that Mama does it as well and she is Tink's true maternal mom.

Tinky just did that to me this morning when I got up she was laying on the end of the couch and I said good morning to her and she made that noise and rolled over and showed me her belly.
