Our local grocery stores in town are Acme and Food Lion, and I do shop there on occasion when they have specials, but they are paperless coupons, and all you need is a store card membership which is free. I always stock up when they have the major brand ice cream sales of buy one and get one free, or some other super low price. At one time last summer,, I had 16 half gallons of various flavors of Breyer's ice cream in the freezer in the garage!
This is mostly what I do too, the 10 dollar coupon on formula was really good but sam's clubs brand formula was cheaper than the name brand with the coupon and its really good formula.
