Daddy's family is all up here, mostly in my area, but there is one son and his family in CT. They had JUST left when this happened. My father's lady friend of the last 11 years, as well as many close friends, live in Florida.

Latest report is the pneumonia is in the left lung, he's on antibiotics, and should be released tomorrow. He will then be at my sister's for a few days until we feel he can get on a plane. It all looks good at this point.

Thank you again for your thoughts and prayers; they mean so much. By the way, I realized last month my father turned 87, not 86 - OK, I can't count.

Oh thank goodness there is good news to report, i am so happy to hear this, i hope he continues to improve and feel better ,so he can return to his home soon, nothing beats being at home,HUGS to you all.

I'm so sorry I didn't see this sooner. You Dad is the same age as my Mom and it really is a worry when pneumonia hits at that age. I'm so glad he's doing better but still, mega prayers on the way from me and merlin.

Oh Maggie, I'm so sorry to hear that your father is sick and in the hospital. At his age that's always a scary thing. If you would like to give me his name, he will be added to our prayer concerns at my church on Sunday.
