Prue never exhibited any anger etc. from her visit to the Vet for spaying. They sleep through most of it and the pain begins when the meds wear off at home. She may not like the Ecollar if they give her one. I like the soft blue ones, but some dogs would just chew the collar right off. Most vets use the hard plastic collars. Dogs usually hate them and can't wait for them to come off.
As I mentioned before, Prue did not bother her incision site at all, so I let her go without the collar. I was home with her for the first few days, so she was not alone with the temptation.
I hope all runs smoothly for you. Give her a couple of days of being lazy and then a few of being quiet, and she'll be fine, I promise.
Paws crossed.
