It reminds me of the Tea Party protests in that they are airing their
grievences, but without wearing silly hats & toting guns. I've heard
no talk of "watering the tree of liberty" with anyone's blood either.

I saw a survey asking if people support the OWS group or the Tea Party:

    OWS: 63%

    Tea Party: 24%

I think right now it's kind of an anarchic venting of frustration with the misdeeds of Wall Street; a common theme is that executives ran companies into or almost into the ground, took corporate welfare (TARP, etc), and turned around and got huge bonuses. BUT...if most of us here were to do equivalent misdeeds (at our own level) we would be out the door, do not pass go, do not collect $200.

For instance, if a chemist in a pharma company falsified data on a new drug application, watch out!!

    (JMO, of course.)

ETA: Awwwww. It looks like they took down the video of the communist shrieking on about how this needs to be like the French Revolution. What a surprise.

    ROTFLMAO...as they say.

Life is very simple to some people...

Protesters with whom I agree = loyal patriots, true Americans

Protesters with whom I disagree = morons, communists, potheads, drunks

Fox News was so shocked by it's own poll on Occupy that it quickly
took it down once it became clear that the majority of people were in
agreement with the protests. Check out Fox's own numbers.

Thank you very much for posting this, lizbud! While I tend to not take surveys all that seriously, people have had enough. We just have nothing more to sacrifice.
