Storms don't faze Myndi in the least. She slept thru the earthquake in her usual spot under my desk, and only protested having to go out in the rain during the hurricane because she didn't want to get wet, and thunder doesn't bother her at all.

Sparky seems to be outgrowing the fear of thunder that he developed a few years ago. He no longer cries and wants to be picked up at the first little rumble. I don't even have the foggiest, where in the house he was during the earthquake, and he didn't like the heavy rain and wind gusts of the hurricane when I took them both out. Other than that, it didn't bother either one of them.

The clock of life is wound but once and no man has the power
To know just when the hands will stop - on what day, or what hour.
Now is the only time you have, so live it with a will -
Don't wait until tomorrow - the hands may then be still.

Two of my dogs are afraid of storms, the rest don't mind them. None of them are too happy if they need to go out to potty in the rain, though.

My horse, Ruby, hates getting wet so she stands under cover where she can stay nice and dry. Our boarder horse, however, loves to run and play in the rain and often tries to convince Ruby to come play too.

My chickens don't really like getting wet either and they also stay under cover when it's raining.

The rest of my crew never seems fazed by storms at all.

my cats are usually ok with storms unless there is a lot of very loud, or sudden thunder, then they take off into a closet or under the bed!

I posted this pic in another thread. Here's Buddy last Sunday night. We had the loudest thunder and lightening storm ever. What do you think? I don't think it bothers him...
