    Happy Dog of the Day to you, beautiful Basset boy Stanley...and a big YAY for rescue! I'm so happy for you Stanley, that you found your way to such a wonderful, loving, forever family after such a rough start in life! As your Dad says, there are so many deserving doggies (and critters of all kinds) patiently sitting in shelters all across the country, just waiting for that perfect someone to come along! And didn't you find your perfect match in your family, sweetheart! You do your beloved predecessor Waldo, Dog of Day, Aug. 4 1999, proud! He truly was one very special pup, with some mighty big pawprints to fill, but his legacy lives on through you, Stanley! And talk about active! How neat is that feature photo of you and your proud Papa atop Gray's Peak (14,270 ft.!) What a team, and just one of many such exciting adventures to come, no doubt!

    Thanks for the big smiles, sweetheart! Enjoy your well earned day on center stage, Stanley! I wish for you and your family a very happy, active, fun filled day of celebration, and countless more happy, love filled years together!
