    Earwigs .................are so named because they crawl into people's ears while they're sleeping and eat their brains. You're out of danger Wom, since a brain is the prerequisite for the Earwig. Must have been raised by earwigs as a child.

    Karoo Chat ...........A smallish bird (15 to 18 cms), a near endemic to southern Africa (also found in south western Angola). It is a common resident of the Karoo, but is also found in the other parts of the Cape and Namibia. It inhabits scrubby plateaus and stony hillsides and lives off insects and seeds
