    I recently represented a client in a deposition. The "other side" was being deposed.

    Our attorney asked her some questions that sent her digging through her purse for business cards, etc.

    Our attorney wrote me a note (lot of that goes on...) saying..."Rule #1 of being deposed - never bring your purse."

    You might ask your attorney about that. It made sense.
