Carole, I can only suggest a manner of naming, as we did with our house. We built this house, and were here for the whole process. The house is built with a steep hill (or "ridge") behind that falls into the forest.
When we moved in there were MANY spiders sharing our space. We'd go out the door in the morning only to run into webs constantly. There were also more than we were used to inside for the first 6 months to a year, although that's no longer the case.
So, when we named the house, we took the co-habitants (and an interesting characteristic), "Spider", and the most obvious characteristic, "Ridge", and so named the house. Spider Ridge; it fit. That is also the name we use on the labels of the wine we make.
Is there an interesting or special character to the courtyard (animal, floral, native plant, or the cats)? Is there also a unique land feature to your property (mountain, lake, prairie, etc.)? Try combining these. Just a thought. Let us know!![]()
