They are so cute - how much do they weigh at 2.5 weeks?

Are these Belgian shepherds? I get confused about the Belgians. The Tervuren and Malinois have lighter color coats - correct?

Oh my goodness such puppy cuteness. I just love seeing them when they are so little. I wish I could have seen Tip when he was a "little"puppy. He was 4 months when we got him from the shelter. I'm loving these puppy post.

They weighed between 2.5-3.5 lb at two weeks, so I imagine by today (3 weeks) they must be around 4 lb or so.
Yes these are Belgian shepherds. There are four varieties; These are the groenendael -- the longhaired black. There is the tervuren which is the longhaired coloured (anything from fawn, to mahoggany, to grey, to sable, etc). The malinois is the shorthaired, which can be either coloured or black, and the laekenois is wirehaired. They can be interbred and registered as purebred -- except with AKC. AKC is the only registry in the world that won't allow intervariety breeding. I am in Canada so I can do intervariety breedings, however I have't yet. I am planning oen for 2012.

The AKC is so weird about things like that. They also won't register Am Staffs if they've been registered with the UKC as pit bull. I also think it's weird how they divide cocker spaniel colours up.
