When your loved one is in pain you feel it too, good thoughts & prayers sent to you & your hubby.
Hope all goes well for Coop.
Paws crossed for him here downunder.
"I'm Back !!"
Thank you all so much for your thoughts and prayers. I am just so worried; for Coop to show any pain means he's in such distress.
GO RAVENS!!
I had a spinal lamenectomy (sp) in Jan 2005, on my L4-5 and it gave me instant relief, unlike I had known in over 30 years, despite morphine and so many other narcotics. I still say it was one of the best decisions I ever made. Due to a congenital defect, I'll also need surgery on the L3-4 (above the first surgery) but, I'll be so happy to be relieved. Spinal stenosis sucks. It didn't seem long until I was able to do more activities than I had in all those years. I hope and pray that Coop will feel like his old self again (sing in that shower Man!). He has 2 wonderful nurses.
I've been Boooo'd!
Sorry I didn't reply to this thread sooner. Surgery sucks in any case, but hey, if it relieves him even a little it's for the best. I'm sorry you have to deal with this now, especially so close to the holidays.I'll be thinking of you and your husband.
Maggie, I sure hope that Coops surgery will go well. Lots of prayers and positive thoughts are being sent his way.
