Just noticed this thread ,I'm so sorry for your loss . I know how hard it is to lose a fur friend especially after having him for so long. But he's at peace and without pain and you can remember the good times you had together knowing he might have gone sooner had you not given him the loving home you did.

I feel so bad that everyone is grieving so for him. Makes you just want to pick them up and love them to pieces and kiss away their tears. That makes your grief even worse knowing how they are grieving and worrying about them too.

I can not imagine your grief after having him for that long.. ((((HUGS)))) to you and the rest of the Fur Posse.

Boo, you left behind a lot of love here on earth. May you rest at RB and become the sweetheart of Rainbow Bridge. Check in on your loved ones here from time to time, they will miss you terribly. You may be gone but never forgotten!

Oh Mary, sorry I am getting to this thread so late. Very sorry for your loss. However, know in your heart that you did the right thing. It was time for Boo to join the rest. You took wonderful care of him throughout his life. We are all blessed to have our special fur critters. They just seem to leave us too soon in life.

I received a sympathy card from Dr. Lee and staff today; everyone signed it, as usual. However, someone wrote "We will all miss Boo!" Seeing that I can count on one hand the number of times he's been to the vet, that really tells me what a special cat he was. He was healthy all his life until the last year or so and even after he was diagnosed w/hyperthyroidism it was controlled by meds and he did fine until just a few weeks ago. He was such a cool, laid back cat and he apparently has touched more hearts than I realized. I miss you my handsome Boober.
