Wow, simply stunning!! What a breathtaking landscape, and the towns look so cute! Norway must be such a beautiful country! I've been to Sweden, Finland and Denmark, but never visited Norway. Def. something I should do.

Glad that you had such a good time! And thanks for sharing the pics!

That's what we were wondering too! We asked the guide, but he didn't react on the "albino" word, I think he didn't understand our question. But he defenitely said those whites were all raindeer too!

We boarded in Rotterdam, which is only a 90 minutes drive from home!
    The following ports were:
    -Bergen
-Hellesylt & Geiranger: here we left the ship at Hellesylt, and travelled with a coach to the end of the fjord in Geiranger; Fantastic scenic drive!! This is when we saw our boat deep down in the fjord!
    -Trondheim
-Hönigsvag: this is the northernmost city , from here you can go to the Northcape : this is 71°N
    -Tromsö
    -Alesund
    -Stavanger
    -Rotterdam

We crossed the Artic circle twice: this was in betweenTrondheim and Hönigsvag, and Hönigsvag and Tromsö.

I took advantage of the computer classes, did you?
Wow, that is our next big dream!!! We think to do this next year in August!! We are not sure yet, as we have to travel to Seattle first, which is already a very long flight for me............
Please tell me more details about your cruise, like what ports did you visit, etc... .
Yes, the verandah was VERY nice!!! Last time we had a cabin on the lower promenade of the Rotterdam, so this veranda was so super!!! We have been on our verandah quite a lot!!
I didn't take the computerclasses, as we went on an excursion in every port !

So glad you enjoyed the trip. Norway has a breathtaking scenery for sure, quite different to flat Denmark. What a fancy cabin you had!

    Thanks for sharing the pictures.

... and thanks for the card you sent!

Here is my thread from May.
    http://petoftheday.com/talk/showthre...41#post2264941

Important part for me, no plane, just a short drive to Seattle.

    Set sail at 4pm Sunday
    Monday at sea.
Tuesday arrived at Glacier Bay. I took so many pictures I thought I broke by camera in the cold weather. So no more pictures Most travel was at night.
Wednesday morn, arrived at Juneau, all day there.
Thursday morn, arrived at Sitka, all day
Friday morn, arrived at Ketchikan 7am, left at 1pm, long ride to Victoria BC
Saturday 6pm arrived Victoria BC, departed 11:58pm
Sunday, arrived Seattle 7am. Had breakfast, then departed for a leisurely drive to Portland.
Two weeks later I tried my camera and discovered it was working again.

Wow Freckles, that sounds so fantastic!! We are dreaming about doing an cruise to Alaska next summer; but we're afraid the long plane trip will be to hard for me.........: Seattle is very far away for us, first a trans-atlantic flight, and then a flight to the other side of the States
