The third day I had Lolly, she saved me from going into a diabetic coma. I took the wrong insulin without realizing it then got in bed. My blood sugar was dropping fast and I was falling asleep so I didn't notice it. Lolly sensed it and started biting my arms. I felt like I was slipping down a deep tunnel and I just wanted to keep slipping. But then Lolly started digging on my arm and stomach. I finally managed to roll out of bed and reach for a Dr. Pepper that my friend who had been over had left in my room. The Dr. Pepper gave me enough strength to get to the kitchen and eat a little bit. Then I just sat there and hugged Lolly.

I've never told this story in a public forum before... just told a few people because I feel like an idiot for taking the wrong kind of insulin. But Lolly is my hero and a true miracle dog.
