A good lesson for anyone hesitant about adopting a "special needs" baby - where there is a will, there's a way!

Kitty Boo, I hope this is the first of many boxes for you --- I love your gently folded ear, it gives you such character! Samantha, as always I love your beautiful, sleek black coat. And gorgeous Giz ... tummy rub tummy rub!

How does she get down? The same way, but backwards?
Believe it or not, she comes down head first, using her front paws to get down until her rear catches up and overtakes her head, she gets her head and front paws down as far as she can before she lets her rear leave the top. Then there is a ker-thunk and she is down. Not a gentle landing but not nearly as hard as I would have thought. I saw her starting to get down today and before I could get the video camera powered up, she was down!

Oh, Amy... what a feat! Such an accomplishment!

You go, girl! Many kissies and skritchies and head-bumpies to you from us, especially your CH brothers Elmer and Bob.

And so nice, too, to see Boo and Samantha and Giz showing off their special relaxation positions!

I meant," said Ipslore bitterly, "what is there in this world that truly makes living worthwhile?"
    Death thought about it.
CATS, he said eventually. CATS ARE NICE.

Mystery solved, lol. Amy, you are one smart, DETERMINED lady!

Boo, you just NOW discovered boxes? Oh my, you have so much fun ahead of you, lol.

Samantha and Giz, doing the all important (cat nap) thing, lol. They are darling, each one (but you already know that). That Amy, AMAZING!

I hear a galloping coming up the hall tonight with amazing speed.. I looked and caught a flash of orange go by at an amazing speed.. HUH? WHAT! WAIT! BOO? What has gotten into you? Are you OK?.. So I quietly get up and look, Giz is on the perch by the kitchen window sound asleep. Samantha is in the box sleeping.. Amy was on the sofa with me.. It WAS Boo! She was at the feeding station chomping away..

LOL! I have not seen her run like that since she has been here, didn't know she even had it in her! I have even caught her playing with one of Giz's stuffed rats several times since I been home this time.. Does this mean she is in her second childhood? She has her 15th birthday coming up soon...

Cats never cease to amaze me and when they are determined to do something they will always find a way. It's great to see that Amy was that determined to get up in the cat tree. Your other girls are beauties and it's great to hear how Boo is acting like a big kitten again. I catch Storm doing this too and he's 14 1/2 years old. It always makes me smile.
