QoP, the family is well know for taking in strays, growing up, it was always smartest to do a quick head count before setting the table for breakfast - or dinner, depending on who was sleeping on the couch to escape what situation where they lived.

To set the record straight, Lady's Human is my brother. And while we also have a sister named Johanna, she is not Cataholic, in fact she is horrifically allergic to cats, and has no pets right now, and doesn't belong to Pet Talk. We do have another brother as well as nieces, nephews and cousins of all sorts all over the map, and while I am not cognizant of any residing in West Virginia, or Wes' Virginny either, I would not bet against it being a possibility.

Cook(ed) in large amounts? I still get accused of having no portion control!

    FOOD FOR THOUSANDS?

MY mom always cooked that way.....I'd ask her "what are you cooking, food for thousands?"

My brother and I made a pot of chili once while our parents were out of state. Lasted us for the better part of two weeks.
