Vladimir Nabokov is a russian author. He wrote Lolita, The Real Life of Sebastian Knight, & A Russian Beauty and Other Stories along with others. Some were novels (first off in russian, then later he wrote in english as well), short stories, Poetry & even some plays).
I love russian literature. I love the way the russians write. I adore Fyodor Dostoyevsky & Anton Chekov the most but also very much enjoy Leo Tolstoy & Vladimir Nabokov as well.
Hmm, it said I write like Dan Brown.
Posted a different chunk of text, and it said I write like James Joyce!
I've Been Frosted
LOl...I've tried different writings and also got different names...I really don't know who the real "me " is now. Still think this is fun though.

I've been frosted--- thank you Cassie'smom
I've been Boo'd----
I tried with an e-mail I had sent some time ago, it said I write like Cory Doctorow.
I don't know him, but I just checked:
Cory Doctorow (pronounced /ˈkɒri ˈdɒktəroʊ/; born July 17, 1971) is a Canadian blogger, journalist, and science fiction author who serves as co-editor of the blog Boing Boing. He is an activist in favour of liberalising copyright laws and a proponent of the Creative Commons organisation, using some of their licences for his books. Some common themes of his work include digital rights management, file sharing, and post-scarcity economics.[1]

"I don't know which weapons will be used in the third World war, but in the fourth, it will be sticks and stones" --- Albert Einstein.
I tried pasting in some of John's Fister stories, it said he wrote like
David Foster Wallace.

Pomtzu, I have never read Ulysses. Maybe I should though now that we have something in common. LOL!![]()
I just tried something different & came up with Margaret Mitchell. I was trying to write like Laura Ingalls Wilder did in her Little House Books. Maybe it is the subject matter?
I write like Steven King. I've never read any of King's novels.
I just tried a different bit of prose and it still said Steven King. I think I write succinctly. Is that how King writes?

Apparently I write like James Fenimore Cooper. WHO???
It's OK, there is no need to answer that, but having read his Wikipedia entry, I was officially insulted, so I tried again with another passage. James Joyce this time. Oh please.
Third time lucky? I pasted in an old cat post and this time Edgar Allan Poe popped up. It might seem that I don't have my own voice, but to be honest, I doubt the scientific credentials of this site you have found, Barbara.![]()
My second try (the story of Orion coming to us) ended up as Nabokov too. Poe and Nabokov? Does that mean I write old-fashioned?
At least it is world literature first class, not like you Dan Brown and James Fenimore Cooper adepts![]()
