The was pretty crazy and I could not believe the extent of the headbutts.

Velodrome racing does have plenty of contact, but nothing like THAT.

The disqualification was deserved-no matter what anyone says- when he cut of Farrar, Farrar took his hand off of the handlebars to push Renshaw out of his way.

And that was the day I didn't watch the end of the race.

I had missed the fans along the race routes and was pleased to see people dressing up.

Today? About 21 miles from the end of the stage I saw a guy with a giant pink plastic phallus sitting on his shoulders.

It was the funniest thing I have seen so far.....His standing to the left of the screen.....

I do not follow much this year and TV is hardly on these last days. Wow, this "headbutting" is incredible!

They commentators said that the head butting alone would have kept him in the race.

It was what he did AFTER that got him tossed out.

Contador is a punk. Congrats.

Loved the "28" jerseys, I think they were more effective when the race judges got to them.

Now I go back to my pedestrian life.

Good race and watch for the Shlecks next year.
