Prayers needed for Finn

Checking in to see if there is any news. Prayers definitely being said that all went well.

I went to pick Finn up, but we decided it would be best to leave him ovenight, as the wound is fresh and kinda bloody and oozy. Ick. He was yelling in the back, he really was having a fit about the e collar. I didn't even go see him because I thought it was just upset him more when I left again.

It's not a tumor! Yay! Dr Ballard said she thought it could have been a snake bite that abcessed, or something along those lines. It was a lot of rotten tissue when she opened it up, yuck. But he is fine, she just felt it was in his best interest to keep him a little drugged up so that he could sleep it off there at the hospital. I can't wAit to see him though.

She cleaned his teeth and cut his nails at no extra charge! She is a great vet, always has gone way above and beyond!

I'll let you all know when he is home! Thanks again, and pray for a comfortable healing night!

Good to hear that it was something relatively easy to fix. Poor Finn, and poor mom having to spend the night without him, but we know it is for the best. Give him a hug from us tomorrow!

I'm so glad to hear that it wasn't a tumor.

I hope that he'll heal up quickly and feel better soon. Lots of prayers and positive thoughts are being sent his way.

I'm glad to hear it wasn't something more invasive like a tumor. Sounds
like the spot was very yucky, and I'm glad he has it off him. Hope he heals
up just fine & it doesn't slow him down at all.

Thanks everyone! Finn came home yesterday and is doing great! He keeps taking the e collar off, so I'm not making him wear it. He doesn't seem to be messing with the spot too much. Let's hope that continues! It is good to have my boy home, that's for sure.
