    I did not follow, just saw the results on the news, but yes, it's a terrible beginning.

    One day I am going to France just to see all those effing sunflowers.

    OMG,

    That's the best.....

    I also am loving the 'castle tours' on this year's coverage.

    The was pretty crazy and I could not believe the extent of the headbutts.

    Velodrome racing does have plenty of contact, but nothing like THAT.

    The disqualification was deserved-no matter what anyone says- when he cut of Farrar, Farrar took his hand off of the handlebars to push Renshaw out of his way.

    And that was the day I didn't watch the end of the race.

    I had missed the fans along the race routes and was pleased to see people dressing up.

    Today? About 21 miles from the end of the stage I saw a guy with a giant pink plastic phallus sitting on his shoulders.

    It was the funniest thing I have seen so far.....His standing to the left of the screen.....
