My boy, Mac is 13 and I don't think of him as old at all. He's just my kitty and that is that. My boyfriend's kitty, Tomas, lived to be 22, so you may have a few years with this handsome gentleman! Yeah, your heart will let you know if there's a connection, and you two knew right away! Instead of Merlin, you could call him Magic.
