Richard, I'd LOVE some salsa! The hotter, the bettah!

We always have chili and cornbread on Super Sunday. I also made a batch of Buffalo Chex mix.

Shoveled my snow, dug cars out and am ready!!!

Nah - the "lost my thumb" is a reference to the old "add about "this" much, and completely forgetting that it was a kinda specific amount, no "and well, got extra might as well throw that in, too ...

Losing one's thumb is a fishing reel reference.

When you lose your thumb on the reel (The thumb controls the spool speed) you wind up with a bird's nest in the line.

Losing your thumb is a bad thing.
