    Geeze - that pooch is lucky to be alive.

    My niece's lab eats rocks - and has had surgery TWICE to remove them. The first time the bill topped $5000, but believe it or not, the vet cut her a deal for the 2nd operation. Being somewhat of a bimbo, she told her father she didn't know how to get the dog to stop eating them. Of course he told her the simplest solution - a muzzle! DUH - now she only has to figure out how to put it on (the dog)!

    OMG I have a niece with a Chocolate Lab, Duke, who has had to be cut open twice for eating rocks. I told her hubby he was going to have to use a muzzle. He was against it because he thought it would alter the dog's personality but I said no. Luckily I think I got through to them. None of my Labs ever ate rocks or anything unusual for that matter, thank goodness.
