That is a screaming deal! I have a 900 sq/ft house on 1.5 acre, valued at $115,000. I R green with the envy.

It's been appraised at over 100k. It was foreclosed on. It makes me sad to think of the family that had to leave.

. They made out with all they could, though...appliances, light bulbs, etc.

. We are going to get kitchen appliances from craigslist or something. Fencing is going to be our biggest initial expense but that alone will add more value to the property.

We just found out that davids parents are going to give us a riding lawn mower. They have two. His dads going to let is use all of his equipment and tools too. That's going to help out a lot. He has quite a collection. he is going to help us install our fence too. I want to set up claras room the same as it is now, so we may have a painting party and have one or two people on each wall so that we can it out in one day! That room is one of my favorite places to be so i'd like to make it one of my first projects.

Well, we went out today and met one of our neighbors. She seems nice enough. Not too crazy that she just got a german shepherd puppy she plans to breed with her people aggressive male. Those are great lines to continue. Oh, well. I'm definitely going to have to just bite my tongue with a lot of things out in the country.

Gosh Kari what a steal, you could not buy anything for that down under,even a piece of land, don't feel so bad about it being a foreclosure, if it wasn't you getting it , it would be someone else, and i cannot think of a nicer more deserving couple than yourselves, what a great start for you both, imagine the fun you will have adding your own special touch to it.
