What a gorgeous, beautiful tortellina! Such a wonderful story, too. A flying turtle, a turtle-dove... A little multi-colored bundle of love.
As it happens, I pet-sit for a tortie girl named Turtle here in Ann Arbor.. I will be visiting her again over Christmas. When I first saw the COTD picture and read the name, I wondered if "my" Turtle's purrents had submitted her picture. But then I read on and learned that today's celebrated Turtle is a flying Texan, neither of which mine is.
Congratulations to you, lovely Turtle! I hope your loyal subjects are giving you extra lovings and treats today in honor of your title.
