... or maybe, Turtle Dove, found in a tree? The turtle dove: a symbol of love. She is BEAUTIFUL and is similar to my tortie, Serena, who also doesn't like other cats. Serena hisses and growls at the other 4, even if they're just sitting and not paying any attention to her. She won't admit that there are times she probably enjoys being chased around. Congrats on being COTD, sweet Turtle, and enjoy many years of !

What a gorgeous, beautiful tortellina! Such a wonderful story, too. A flying turtle, a turtle-dove... A little multi-colored bundle of love.

As it happens, I pet-sit for a tortie girl named Turtle here in Ann Arbor.. I will be visiting her again over Christmas. When I first saw the COTD picture and read the name, I wondered if "my" Turtle's purrents had submitted her picture. But then I read on and learned that today's celebrated Turtle is a flying Texan, neither of which mine is.

Congratulations to you, lovely Turtle! I hope your loyal subjects are giving you extra lovings and treats today in honor of your title.
