Slick, You probably already know this but animals,especially cats, hide their pain very well. I sure hope that the shots and Metacam will help make Max more comfortable. Cherish all of the time that you have with him. I'm sure he'll let you know when it's time to let him go. It's so hard watching our furkids get older.
