Hi everyone!

I can't believe I'm doing this. had to get up and outta bed, I'm so bored. Once again, I put off things that should have been done, so I had John vacuum and clean today. He's really good at it too! So that's his new honeydew job!

Went for post op check up this AM. Looks as good as expected. Starting to swell since I got poked and prodded. I have to stay in bed, on my left side, with torso higher than my head, for 3 days, with 10 minute breaks every 1/2 hour to eat or pee etc. Thankfully there's a small TV in the bedroom so I can lay across the bed, but even that's boring.

No real pain except I can feel the inner stitches, kind of pinchy. I talked the doc into giving me an eye patch underneath the huge plastic eye cover, so people don't stare. I look like a monster. Shame it's past Halloween. Of all my surgeries and breaks,I think they eye is the worse. At least with other stuff you can still do things. altho, restricted. John's going to buy me a parrott and a peg leg! He's a great nurse. I decided not to even care on bit and let everyone wait on me. I've come to my senses. My family doc hugged me and said my poor itty bitty body has been thru so much.

Enoguh of rattling..must be the pain killers... Took me ages to type.

I can't believe you got on the computer, but I'm glad to hear that you are already bored. Believe me, I can understand that! I know more about daytime television than I ever wanted to know. Just 4 more weeks for me! LOL!!!!

Hooray! Glad it's going well. Eye stuff is scary, but you're a trooper! Let John spoil you and do EVERYTHING so that you can rest and recoop. I can lend you a parrot if you want!
