Slick, I am so sorry to hear about Max. Now that I read how he stares it helps me realize why Taz had done that before. He didn't stare out windows or in mirrors, but he would just sit or lay and stare at nothing.
I will continue to hope you can ring in the new year with your baby boy. I will hope even harder that Dr Singh can do something to help Max remain comfortable.

    Hugs to you!

Thank you for the siggy, Michelle!

I just lit a candle for slick and max. It was my first one and I messed it up. It shows my intials ch instead of slick and max under the candle. But the thought is for them.

Slick, you and Max are in my thoughts. I hope you will have a cuddly and good weekend! I have a candle burning for you both!

    Gentle scritches and hugs.

Dear Lord, I love Pet Talk.
Thank you so much for your love, prayers and candles. I've read each one of your heartfelt messages - LES....

Max is going in to see Dr. Singh on Saturday Dec 5th. Dr. Singh now only works on Friday mornings and Saturdays and Max is not that urgent now. There are other vets employed by Dr. Singh that I could see but I feel comfortable waiting to see him - I've been with Dr. Singh since 1997 and I love him. If, of course, Max starts an even steeper decline rapidy I won't hesitate to take him in to all night vet clinic close to my home.

Might reduce the amount of time you spend on Hide 'n Seek looking for 'lumps' in strange places.
This made me laugh out loud.

Phred: I've been thinking about baby gates, especially for the kitchen. Unfortunately my apartment is an "open floor plan" so there are no hallways to block off. The second bedroom has the litterboxes (2) and I could just close the door to my bedroom to keep him out of there. The living room/dining room areas are one big room and keeping him out of there is not an option as there are no walls, if you get my drift - hard to 'splain.

I'm leaving work shortly and Lord only knows what I'll find. I can put up with the presents left for me but I've had to 'splain all this to my housecleaner and that is rather embarrassing. Thankfully, she's understanding and loves Max too.

MOFF: I think I'm ready to read the book you sent me.

Hugs to you and Max. I hope that you're able to get more quality time with your dear one.

I came home tonight to find 3 different puke spots. Poor boy puked up undigested dry food - 2 in my bedroom and 1 in the kitchen. Still....when I came through the door he cried and cried for his wet food and I was happy to oblige. Surprise - didn't find any "lumps" but he also has not used either litterbox all day and evening. I went looking/feeling for pee spots all over but couldn't find any. Hope I'm not missing anything.
