    Way to go Denny!

I SO totally agree, but then again I knew it was going to be that way. It always is. But a big shout out to him. I think if he hadn't had those 3 dnf's he really would have given JJ a run for his money. Maybe next year!

I did love the Tony/Montoya tiff...too bad Tony couldn't get back up to the front.

I know they talked about Jimmy a lot but I must admit it wasn't quite as much as I thought they would so not a bad race to me.

Oh and I forgot to give props to Joey Logano for being rookie of the year! Go Joey!

Only 84 days to go. I'll miss you NASCAR!

Loved Denny all weekend...so glad he spun Brad, but did it without taking him out. Showed class.

I follow Denny on Twitter and he said last night he was humbled that he had recevied messages of congrats from 20% of his followers....that is about 1600 messages. Said he spent 45 minutes reading them all.

Congrats Joey on a great rookie season!

And only 75 days til the Bud shootout...let's not wait for the Daytona 500!!!

    Like,

I should be happy that a Cali Boy won again?

    Not so fast, brake dust!

Thanks MM for a great season and to all the other drivers- and you-know-who, too for making the season interesting.

    ------------------

After listening to the ABC announcers for the last part of the season? I'm ready for some boogity again.

    -------------------

As the season ends and we look forward to 2010-some die hard fans have already calculated the opening of next year's schedule.

SCJ? Please synchronize THEIR calendars because, as with all sports fans, they cannot even agree on WHEN to start the engines.

Thanks for making it an interesting 36 races, the drivers safe and keep Wendy Venturini on the Speed Channel-please don't make her dress frumpy during her interviews anymore....

Keep the fans safe during the off season and keep MY NASCAR mag out of the mailbox of my neighbors.

Bring Volkswagen to the Series, sponsors to the teams and make me better understand the allure of Kyle Busch (Sorry, guys!).

Keep Ambrose racing-please give him and his accent more air time.

And please keep Jack Roush from shaking the house and shining lights in thru the windows of people's homes.

Most of all, keep all the fans who posted on the thread safe until the next crazy invocation, Bad Singing of the National Anthem and the chance they get to post about their favorite drivers.

    Amen?

Hollywood Casino, Lawrenceburg, IN. Tony hosted a Charity Poker tournament for his foundation (to raise money for rescue/ retired race horses and greyhounds). As part of the Tourny, they had a VIP lunch event that I bought us tickets to for our anniversary. I didn't get it on my camera, but there is also a picture of Ralph and I both with him. We are supposed to get an email copy from the TS Foundation. I will post it when I get it.

    Anyone watching the banquet tonight?

Time helps the sadness subside, but the memories remain forever.
