We saw that one and enjoyed it very much - for exactly the reasons you list

Yesterday I saw Amelia with Hillary Swank and Richard Gere. Not the best, nor the worst I've ever seen. I did learn a lot about Amelia Earhart. Great scenery, loved the music, and Richard Gere is worth the price of admission any day of the week

Ice Age 3: dawn of the dinosaurs. Very enjoyable, especially for a sequel.

I was watching Vertigo and changed it just in time to see the homer.

I saw a very funny movie, by accident, today.

It was called, "The Rocker" -it was a "music comedy" about a drummer that gets kicked out of a band and waits 20 years to get famous with another group of musicians. It was juvenile enough to be funny and funny enough not to be stupid with phart and sex jokes.

The one-liners were terrific and I found myself laughing like an idiot-no mean feat for me!
It wasn't as dense as "Spinal Tap" or "School of Rock".

That movie is a lot of fun! The Ice Age series is wonderful, each as good as the last, I think!

I love, love, love that movie. I look forward to renting it when my daughter is old enough and watching it with her like my mom watched it with me. In '91 I saw a production of Romeo And Juliet in Canada and Megan Follows played Juliet (she's Anne in the movie). I was so delighted to see her perform live on stage.

I have since watched two other Anne movies starring Megan Fellows. i really loved both sequels to the original.

1987: Anne of Green Gables: The Sequel, a sequel to the 1985 miniseries which aired on the Disney Channel as Anne of Avonlea: The Continuing Story of Anne of Green Gables.
2000: Anne of Green Gables: The Continuing Story.

I love this series. I have all the books (there are eight, and they are wonderful). All three movies are so good, and I, like Leslie, can't wait to share them with Clara! I have them on DVD, and will probably watch them this week since they've been mentioned in here.
