Winnie, it is easy to see where Angel gets her good looks, from Mom! You are a lovely kitty and I hope you stay around and become a true member of the family. Angel would love that so much!

Winnie, it's very nice to see your pretty little face! Purple collars are great - Pinot sports one, too! Now you stick around to make sure your little Angel is safe and sound (we all know that she is, but stick around anyway, OK?).

    Thanks for the pics!

Oh MOFF, as soon as I read your email (from work ) I came right here to take a look. My eyes get leaky when I think of all you've done for these sweet babies. If I ever grow up, I wanna be just like you.

Winnie reminds me so much of Mz Edwina and I'm sure she would agree that the pretty new collar makes quite the fashion statement.

Glad you are back home again and in the loving arms of your Mewomie.

  5. Winnie Darling,

Take it from me. It takes a while but it is worth. You CAN get used to furred or furrless....it is new and different - being inside...but trust me...when it gets to be cold and wet outside it will feel so nice to be warm and cozy.

You will make friends - and the ones without fur are such good hunters you will never know another day of hunger!

And by the way....purple is so you!

    Sagely,

    Edwina

Well, Winnie still has to stay outside. For a while anyway. Chester and Grandma haven't adjusted to Angel yet. Grandma smacked at her last night when she wouldn't take a hissy hint and tried to crawl into a chair with Grandma. Chester smacked at her this morning just for trying to play with his tail. Guess he doesn't remember all the times he grabbed Luke and Leonardo's tails. But all smacks have been air smacks no contact. So now we wait a while.

Winnie checked out her new bed on the back porch. The porch is enclose on two and a half sides so she can get out of the weather. She also had to check the shed, just in case I left Angel in there. I did let her see angel through the back door. Angel is so fast now, I can't let her outside. I'd never catch her if she took off. Still, we are all making progress in the right direction and our neighbor, Mary, will help watch out for winnie. Sorry, but it's the best I can do for now.

I wanted her to have the collar so people would know someone loves her.

When she got spayed, did they also chip her?

She sure looks great today - and that collar is perfect on her

No, no chip. They did tell me about it but it's $30 which is not bad but then it's $15 a month from then on to keep it active. I just can't swing that.

That's very interesting. All of our cats have chips; our Vet waived the initial cost for each of them. And there was a one time registration fee of $25 per cat. That's it - no further costs

Think you are a very good judge of your situation, and are doing every
thing right. Taking it slow is best for everyone.

Do you think Winnie might want to sleep in the shed?

Sounds like Grandma and Chester are just schooling little Angel in the house rules. I think they'll work it out just fine.

I doubt it. She really hates being shut in there. We are to have thunderstorms tonight and tomorrow. The shed is metal and that rain hitting it must be murder on her ears.

She did go in and look around earlier. Maybe she was looking for Angel. I did show her Angel through the kitchen storm door so she knows now Angel is ok. Angel has gotten so fast, I can't put her down outside. She would scoot away and I'd never catch her again.

Winnie just looked at her, yawned then went for a snack.

I can just imagine Angel sprinting around the house. She doesn't have
    feet, she has wheels.

Yeah, Winnie should be fine if she has shelter from wind & rain.(and food)

Angel is 8 weeks old today!

Miss Angel is turning into quite a character. She has been hissed at by both Chester and Grandma today. Swatted at too but they never really hit her.

I have some pics! (you knew that didn't you? )

Chester crawled into the cat carrier trying to get some peace from Miss Angel this morning!

Angel found this old toy my brother sent my cats.

It didn't take her long to figure out how it works.

    What ya mean share?

She traps Chester in the cat carrier!!! Turned the tables on him, she did!!!
