I have tears in my eyes after reading this, I would be willing to go to LA and help rescue these guys, if only I didn't live in PA. poor babies

I pointed Richard to this thread, as from what Gill posted, it's an email forward/cross post, and Richard is geographically closer to the actual situation. He has not heard anything about this, but will look into it.

Yes it is a cross post. There are several people working on this in CA. BUT if it happens there you can bet it will spread. I have called CA. a number of times already. We all have to take a close look and be aware of the laws being passed in our cities and states. In N.J. they are trying to pass a 6 cat limit, at the state level, This would mean that more then 6 you are a hoarder and the number over 6 can be removed and destroyed.
THINK ABOUT IT.

I thought it was up to each town to hold a pet ownership policy.. They usally dont enforce it unless you have been turned in for cruelty & or ect.. I do feel sad for the babies in CA.. Hope there is something we all can do..

I'd say there are far more problems to deal with than cats as far as national security goes. That is grasping at straws for an excuse from a obvious cat hater and should be branded as such. (and that's the kindest thing I can say about him!)
