THank you for wonderful games (especially the NE/Buff game that just ended)
this weekend.

Thank you for making football fun for the opening weekend and please take care of all the players, fans and people who enjoy football in any way, shape and form.

Also please keep the beer cold, the weather nice and clear any motes from the eyes of the officials.

Were those some games last night?

Even tho I am a Raider fan, I was impressed with the way they played.
The announcers were saying "are the Chargers THAT bad, or Raiders THAT good?" I don't care, the game was one of the better ones they have played in a long, long time.

I didn't watch the Eagle's game, but I heard that McNabb sustained a broken rib in the game on Sunday. Hmmm - I wonder what's next - blow out that knee again??? They have to find some way to get Vick in there when he's finally allowed to play. At least they are bringing Jeff Garcia back for now. What a stupid move that was to get rid of him in the first place. Almost as stupid as signing Vick.

Problem is - after they renovated the stadium, adding seats upwards, poor Jesus could no longer be seen from the stadium, in his entirety.

The refs took a TD away from the Raiders, late in the game, that really irritated me. But, so is life andsports!

The Packers actually managed to win a close one for a change! Nice long bomb against Da Bears with under 2 min. left. Green Bay's defense is a terror! They stuffed Matt Forte the whole night.

Did anyone see Washington upset USC yesterday? That was a darn good game! I get to watch football all day today...so Ill post my thoughts when I get home...posting from the phone is a pain!
