As something of an agorophobe, I really do enjoy the chance to virtually visit places I will likely never seeThank you very much for taking me on your beautiful walk today!!
What a beautiful place for a walk Chris. Are those genuine standing stones, or a pretend reconstruction?

Oh Chris, how I long to take that walk with you and Mr. Bob.These pictures are beautiful and I enjoyed reading about the parks history and I just have to say again, that is the strangest covering over the bandstand.
So, how about some new Bob pictures to accompany these???![]()
Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, champagne in one hand and strawberries in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and screaming WOO HOO - What a Ride!

Sorry ladies, I don't know how I came to miss your posts yesterday.Thanks too to you both for looking and lovely comments. {hugs}
Karen, no, the standing stones are not ancient but are the Gorsedd stone circle from the 1961 National Eisteddfod which took place there.
slick, thanks for the lovely comments and I too wish you could here to take that walk with us. I'm sure you would enjoy it and am equally sure Bob would too.
The bandstand, you know what, I've become quite used to that weird top now.Still not got a clue as to why it is like it is though.
New Bob pictures? Well, I did get a new camera a little while ago and took some of him and Ebbs ... did I post any though? Can't remember, will have to check, wouldn't harm to take new ones anyway I guess.Keep a sharp eye.
Thanks for sharing your walk with us, Chris - what a lovely scenery you have around you.
Bob must have had a good nap while you were gone. Didn't he notice at all?![]()

Randi, thanks for looking and the lovely comments.As for Bob, he most likely thought I'd gone shopping for the biscuit bone he got when I came home.
