For many years TK was a 'news byte' and a very symbolic icon.

You could feel sorry for him because of the familial 'bad luck', then he had his own problems and kept a low profile for the last 40 years?

A sad and troubled legacy. You might compare him to some other politicians/star that have run afoul of law, then went on to lead a "normal" life.

What rock have you been living under??? He did more in one lifetime,
than most do if they lived ten lives. He was always a real powerhouse in the
US Senate. Ted Kennedy, low profile?? Never happened.
