Sadly we are down to one baby now. The other one died yesterday.

It never was as strong or as active as the one who is left.

The one who is left seems very healthy and certainly has good lungs on her.

Now if she can just catch a break. If she makes it I'll offer to adopt her. She certainly deserves a good home after what she's going through. I think my two older babies would take to a baby better than to an adult cat too.

I can't take the mom though. She's just too cranky and scratches and hits me whenever she gets a chance. Too bad we can't make her former family at least pay to get her spayed. I can keep feeding her outside but can't go through more pregnancies with her.

But please, don't feel it's your fault, you did NOT fail!!

Sometimes - sadly - nature's just like that!

I hope the remaining one will grow up to be a healthy kitty and live a happy life!

Don't give up hope. Peaches used to be the same way and now she loves us.
