Oh Moff, what a sad state of affairs. I sure hope and pray that Momma and baby stay safe. I think it's a wonderful idea that you offer your safe haven to the little one. Hopefully you do some socialization and help him/her to florish.
You are not a failure!! You are a very loving, caring purrson - the beautiful soul inside wants to save all of them and you just can't. Even saving the one baby makes you a hero in my eyes.

Now if she can just catch a break. If she makes it I'll offer to adopt her. She certainly deserves a good home after what she's going through. I think my two older babies would take to a baby better than to an adult cat too.
