I have boycotted KFC for about 5 or 6 years now. I love the taste of their spices but I am appalled at their "farming" practices, so I refuse to eat it or Taco Bell (they are affiliated here, not sure if they are in the states).
When I want fried chicked, I just bread it in flour and spices by shaking it in a sealed tupperware dish, and fry it in a pan with some butter and olive oil. Doesn't need to be deep fried. I think the trick is to make sure not to cook it on too high of a temperature, so the outside doesn't cook too fast and it stays raw inside. I also take the skin off my chicken, and it still comes out crispy and delicious!![]()
