Im not saying anything, my cat has the dryer fetish.
I can't remember who it was who had lunch in the Eiffel Tower every day on the basis that it was the only place in Paris from which he couldn't see the Eiffel Tower. Maybe if the fan frightens Ed, he is working on a similar principle?
You said that the vibration is minimal but maybe it's just enough that it's comforting to him, rather like a heartbeat. I dunno. He's a cat, therefore nuts.![]()

I have a theory - he likes the cool feel of the metal base. Even tho I have central air, Myndi likes to lay behind or beside the toilet in my bathroom, and the only thing I can figure, is that she likes the feel of the cool porcelain. She only does it in the hottest weather, so that's got to be why she will sometimes lay there.![]()

To everything there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven.
Ecclesiastes 3:1The clock of life is wound but once and no man has the power
To know just when the hands will stop - on what day, or what hour.
Now is the only time you have, so live it with a will -
Don't wait until tomorrow - the hands may then be still.
