This is excellent news for the babies. But I'm concerned about the apparent lack of available toys for Mystic. Poor little guy has to play with a brick.

    ROTFLOL

Actually you NEED some variety in that house. And Harry really NEEDS another kitty splashed with white.

Thats so funny about the brick.
But our Ctas do make thier own toys and will sometimes ignore the ones that you buy and think are so coool!!!!
And Trixie really does have a lot of HH Lady Edwina Roses Coloring, but that means you have to adopt a Baby Juke : Joint Joseph!!!

What's wrong with a brick. Our CREW plays with any thing thats not nailed down. If they realy want it nailing does not help.

Technically, that is not a brick but a door stop! It keeps the door open and Mystic was simply making sure it was heavy-duty enough to do the job. I know the door also is in bad need of a pint job. I have had a gallon of red paint sitting in the bedroom since thois past fall..... and spilled it a couple days ago. One corner of the bedroom has a HUGE Deep Red paint spill. I didn't even try to rub it clean -- too much paint. Oops.

We just found a monkey in the works for Heather adopting Mikey..... they said he must be declawed. What do we do now? There's no way we will declaw the boys! NONE! And Mikey is just like Pouncer in regards to trimming his nails -- he wants nothing to do with it. I'm hoping to get his nails down low like I used to do with Harry. Maybe if the nail is cut down to the nail bed, they'll approve him. Maybe?

Boy can we ever relate!! That's why I cannot foster nor bring anymore home! I can see why you failed!
Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) is a full management plan in which stray and feral cats already living outdoors in cities, towns, and rural areas are humanely trapped, then evaluated, vaccinated, and sterilized by veterinarians. Kittens and tame cats are adopted into good homes. Healthy adult cats too wild to be adopted are returned to their familiar habitat under the lifelong care of volunteers

Do they check the paws, or can you just agree and then not do it?

I hope that you can work something out. Why doesn't your daughter look for apartments that don't require declawing or has she already put down a deposit on the current place? I'd love to be able to watch all 3 of these former fosters grow up.

This was the only one that accepted students as the leasee, as well as allows pets, as well as actually being a NICE place for a rather affordable amount. All th other places that offered the same options were easily $200 a month more. OR they were absolutely unkept -- ratty carpet, needing paint, questionable people living in the building, etc.

I have the feeling I'm going to show her how low the claws can get without being declawed. and promise that his nails will remain trimmed in such a manner. I have the feeling that educating the rental agent about declaws will be a waste of my breath.

AND now, because of this, hubby wants to take both Trixie and Mystic to Sunday's adoption event.
