Hello, Sox. I think you ARE a beautiful feline (I have a soft spot for calicos.) Enjoy your special day - and know that you are a beautiful cat. As you can see, many others love your face - more than your meowmie. Purrs to you and your human

Oh, Sox, I cannot believe anyone would give any kitty up after 15 years!! Especially one like you! Sweetie, I'm sorry you had to go through that!

Well, it worked out in the end, 'cause your Mom loves you VERY much, doesn't she? Happy COTD to you, honey, you deserve every special treat and extra bit of attention you'll receive today! Have a great day!!

Thank goodness for people like Sox's Mom - how cruel and self-centered people are. There is no acceptable excuse for leaving abandoning a 15 year old cat (or any elderly cat for that matter). Sadly, because of the overpopulation of cats (and dogs), this inhuman race has the misconception that these loving animals are disposable and also replaceable. They are not. Those of us who have lost one of our beloved furry family know how devastating and heartbreaking it is. I know how hard it is right now with the economy so please, anyone reading this who has furkids and is thinking of abandoning them, please think twice - giving up their unconditional love during this rough time would not help their situation or yours. We all have little ways we can cut back to still be able to afford to keep our devoted furry friends if we try hard enough - and it's more than worth it, they more than deserve it.
Please have your pets sterilized as soon as possible to lower, and one day hopefully eliminate, unwanted and abandoned pets. It IS our responsibility. Adopting from a shelter also helps - encouraging breeders just adds to the overpopulation.

Sweet Sox!!! My heart sank to read that you were taken to the shelter after living with a
" family " for all those years!!! But, now that you have a great Mom, perhaps it was meant to be!!! Like our dear Raven, you RULE!!! Many more years of happiness in your loving home. HAPPY COTD!!
    PS: Our Raven snored, too!!!

Sox you look so cool in your Lion Cut, and we bet that you cant wait until your fur grows back and you are your old fluffy self again!!!
And how anyone could abandon a Companionthat they have had for 15 years is so callous!!!
We hope that thier children dump them in a nursing home when they get older and are no longer loved.

You remind me of Smokey a stray I adopted at 17 and who suprised us to living to 23.
You are in a great home now and your family deserves a lot of credit for making your golden years happy ones!!!
