I got an e-mail from the behaviorist and he's recommending chamomilele tea once a day mixed with wet food. 1/16 of a teaspoon. How the heck do you measure that out? He thinks it will help calm Clyde.

I have a cat that does the same thing. No medical reason for it.

I have two swivel rockers that he loves! After numerous dousings with Simple Solution, I took them outside and hosed them down with lots of water. It took about three days for them to dry, but they came out smelling good and looking like new. Now they are back in the house with plastic shower curtain liners over them. None of the cats will get on the chairs now. I'm hoping that eventually the habit will be broken and I can remove the plastic.

Joey also like to pee on the dog's bed, so I pick up the bed and store it during the day.

I would love to put plastic on the chair but then my bf would find out what's going on and I would be in really big trouble and Clyde might not have a home anymore. I was hoping to find a less noticeable way to keep Clyde off that damn chair. Right now I just try to keep stuff on it like a box or stuff like that. Luckily I haven't been caught yet!

Yes that's us; When he was at my apt he liked to lay on the arm of the couch. The other pic is of my mom's Maltese puppies...Baily and Casey although you can only see Bailey in the picture.

I get so mad at Clyde when he's being bad but it's hard to stay mad because I don't know what he's been thorough before I got him. I don't think he is acting this way on purpose but I don't quite know what to do to re-train him either. I will say that Clyde sure is lucky that I have so much patience though!! I don't know too many people that would deal with this for as long as I have. I'm not giving up on him though. I love him too much and I'm way too attached!

I'm not you, but I could not have a relationship with someone who would have a problem with Clyde's 'problem'. Like you said, you don't know what he went through before you got him. I like a man who believes that a living creature is worth far more than a chair.
