Nice pictures, did you get any shopping in? I understand Chicago is great for that.

My friends and I avoided shopping because the trip budget was pretty tight, so we settled for window shopping on North Michigan Ave. We just about had to drag one of my friends away from the Tiffany's window--otherwise I think she'd still be standing there staring at the sparkly diamonds.

HOLY !@#$% I really want to see that exhibit! Maybe I can sneak a little weekend trip home just to see it? I knew it was coming but totally forgot about it!

I think it'll be in Chicago all summer. Well worth the visit. I'd recommend renting the audio tour device to listen to comments from the moviemakers about the items in the exhibit.

I bought mysefl a silver bracelet from Tiffanys in Seattle. I wear it to work and love it.
Window shopping is always nice. It gives me great ideas on fashion.

Unquestionably the view from the John Hancock is the best -- including the Ladies Room.

I remember taking Barbara and Siegmar there. We watched a thunderstorm roll from O'Hare east toward the lake. It was incredible.

That must have been amazing. I wish we'd had time to go back up during daylight hours, but there were just too many other things to explore. Something to add to the list for my next visit!
