A newshead/talking head made this comparison-and how true is it?

During the last few years, making a big deal and slamming the government and the idiots who run it, was touted as being patriotic. It goes back to that old adage about questioning authority.

It was OK to clown on the previous administration. Now? You can't because you are a racist, a jerk and what ever else the supporters of the current government can call you.

Seems like what is good for the goose, just may be foie gras from the gander?

    ----------------------

Let me bring the "date night" trip up again.

This shows how dumb people are!

MO is shown in the crowd at the D-Day ceremony. Why is she there?

BO could have easily told her, "Hey, let's go paint the town in France next week instead of wasting all that taxpayer money by going to New York...."

Nope, he had to show off and make it a publicity stunt.

And what woman doesn't want to be treated to a night on the town with plane and helicopter flights? Golddiggers?

As I said before, I don't care who sits in the hot seat, as long as the are up front with how the run MY country.

Indeed - and why was Laura Bush present at the 60th Anniversary observance?

    Bonus Round!

“Dick” Cheney was known for traveling to the southwest to “hunt” birds raised and released for being shot.

Which of these trips cost the taxpayers more…

When he went “hunting” with a Supreme Court justice who refused to recuse himself from a case involving “Dick” Cheney? or……..

The trip when he shot his elder companion in the face?
(Demonstrating his knowledge of "gun safety")

Had to earn a few more FF miles before the 2nd Qtr. ended.

Plus, when you are married as long as GWB and Baba are, you don't need no phony date night.

Very feeble excuse - surely you could come up with something wittier.

I seriously doubt that either couple would consider attendance at the observance of D-Day as a date?

I all wittied out. Plus, I don't make excuses for people with more money than I'll ever see in my lifetime. I also pay for what I can afford, not bill it to the 'company'.

I always filled out my expense reports as honestly as possible.

    -------------------------------------

What woman would pass up a chance to go to Paris instead of NYC on a freaking date night? I like to woo my women in private, not make it a media event.

Of course, any media attention is having the USPS hang my pic in their office.

A few months ago I saw a great bumper sticker: "Republicans for Voldemort".

20++ years ago, I saw a button: "Vote for Darth Vader, if you're tired of the LESSER of two evils."

The more things change, the more they stay the same! (I know I'd just mangle the French spelling!)
I've been finally defrosted by cassiesmom!

Since both couples, and all the other Presidential couples that have gone to Normandy, bill it to "the company", you were wrong to complain only about Michelle.

Aw, shiat. Will I have to buy the MO Inauguration Doll to make up for it?

I was talking about the Date Night that you and I paid for.

I was watching that hack, B Maher and he had the no talent D.L. Hughley on.

Hughley made a joke about the "date night" and completely ignored the money spent on the little tryst. Typical.

What happened to the old "dissent is good" lines that everyone frothed about during the election?

I complained about Baba, Hillary, Nancy, Rosalyn and Maggie, too.

Altho, I wouldn't tell MT to her face, she really scared me.

I really don't like myself, so why would I find time to like politicians and their wives?

    Sarkozy's wife is really hot.
