Your father is a very dapper gentlemen. Such a sharp dresser!

He does not look his age at all. Staying busy, and brave, has a lot to do with that, I'm sure.

You are lucky indeed. My dad passed away last year, at age 82. I miss him every single day.
"We give dogs the time we can spare, the space we can spare and the love we can spare. And in return, dogs give us their all. It's the best deal man has ever made" - M. Facklam

"We are raised to honor all the wrong explorers and discoverers - thieves planting flags, murderers carrying crosses. Let us at last praise the colonizers of dreams."- P.S. Beagle

"All that is gold does not glitter, Not all those who wander are lost; The old that is strong does not wither, Deep roots are not reached by the frost. From the ashes a fire shall be woken, A light from the shadows shall spring; Renewed shall be blade that was broken, The crownless again shall be king." - J.R.R. Tolkien

I hope he is doing okay with the loss of your Mother, I am sure on one hand it is somewhat of a relief not to watch her suffer and have to care for her but on the other hand he has lost the woman he loves.

Edited to add...I forgot to say Lut..you look very thin!

Send him?? Haha, NO way!! He is MINE
He won't go far away from mom's grave, because he visits her EVERY single day!! He loved her so much.... ! He has been active all his life because he had to take care of my sick mom (MS), he did everything in their household, just like a woman does!!
I love to hear that I have the same smile!! What a perfect thing to share, hey!!!
THIN I wish I was, lol!! I am still an XL, so that is far from THIN; but thanks for the compliment anyway
I miss you enormously Sydney, Maya, Inka & Zazou Be happy there at the Rainbow Bridge

That made my heart ache. I am glad to see he is okay though and is living a full life. He looks great for his age, and I am in agreement with Twisterdog, he is a sharp dresser! I think you two look so much alike, and you both look so happy.

You look a great deal like your Father! He is a dapper gentleman, as someone else posted. My Father is 84 and also had to "move on". My Mother passed on 9 years ago, and Daddy has a lady friend he spends time with, but that's the extent of it. It's wonderful your Father can travel with you. Thanks for sharing!

I understand exactly how wonderful that makes you feel, Lut. Last week at my Mom's funeral several people told me, "You look more like your mother every time I see you." I took that as the ultimate compliment! And yes, you do look like your wonderful Dad!! I hope you'll accept that as the compliment it's intended to be.
